GS AIGETOA writes to CMD BSNL with a request to implement Reservation in promotion to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and issue the promotion orders in respect of SDE to AGM immediately. The DPCs for all the eligible candidates have already been completed and there is no point in keeping the promotions orders on hold any more in view of the recent DOP&T orders and decision from Hon’ble Supreme Court. GS extends an earnest request for issuance of promotion orders with copy to Hon’ble Secretary DoT and Director HR. Earlier CHQ team has discussed the matters at DOT with concerned officers and Member Services and extended the request for endorsement of the DoP&T orders by Department of Communications so as to direct all the administrative ministries and department under DoT to implement the DOP&T OM dated 28.12.2023 w.r.t PWD reservation guidelines.

GS AIGETOA writes to CMD BSNL with appeal to revisit the Online Attendance by understanding the field difficulties of BSNL Executives and requirements according to their operational needs.
AIGETOA expressed the following concerns raised by field executives w.r.t current online attendance system:

GS AIGETOA writes to CMD BSNL with urgent request to put the implementation of the latest orders with regard to marking the attendance through mobile APP on hold and to revisit the mobile reimbursement policy to increase the reimbursement allowance for mobile handsets to at least Rs. 20000/- per officer to empower BSNL Executives in effectively addressing operational requirements.
GS AIGETOA writes to CMD BSNL with request for immediate Promotion of AGM to Regular DGM Grade in CSS cadre and waiver of delayed period while considering the eligibility of promotion in next higher grade for all the affected employees belonging to the different grades and streams.
The General Secretaries of AIGETOA, BTEU BSNL and BDPS writes to Hon’ble MoC seeking his kind Intervention for cancelling the unilateral decision of DoT for retaining the 81 acres of ALTTC land vide order No.8- 9/2020-Asset Mgmt dated 21.02.2022 and through the subsequent DOT letter No.3-32/2019- NTI.Admin dated 27-12-2021 to hand over ALTTC campus from BSNL to NTIPRIT. The General Secretaries also request Hon’ble MoC for directing DoT to transfer all the assets in the name of BSNL as mandated during its formation on 01.10.2000.
Today on 23rd Nov 2023, Team AIGETOA consist of Sh. Veerabhadra Rao All India President, Sh. A A Khan Chief Patron & National Convener, Sh. Pavan Akhand Dy. GS, Sh. Badri Kumar Mehta Finance Secretary, Sh. Yogendra Kumar AGS and Sh. Sunil Kumar Gautam AGS, welcomed with flower bouquet and congratulate Sh. Kalyan Sagar Nippani on assuming the charge of Director HR BSNL Board and assures him full support & co-operation in all the endeavors taken in the interest of BSNL and its employees.
During our brief discussions, we emphasized in resolving our longstanding HR issues in BSNL, particularly focusing on promotions across all cadres and streams. We also requested an appointment for a detailed discussion on these matters.
Director HR promptly assured us of a meeting with his HR team to address our concerns comprehensively.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed Director HR.
During the meeting with PGM Pers, team AIGETOA has requested for Clarification on the cut off date for the applicability of the new guidelines wrt hard, soft and semi hard tenure stations. After our consistent pursuance on the subject, finally Pers Section issued the clarification that the guidelines shall be applicable from the date of issuance of orders and for all the transfer orders issued before the cut off date, old guidelines will prevail. We are also pursuing to get the tenure period restored to its earlier period.

Contrary to the update by the other association and other groups who have ruled out promotions, and in line with the updates shared by AIGETOA wherein we said it will definitely come, the much awaited promotion orders for 228 JTOs has been issued. AIGETOA has been pursuing the orders and finally succeeded in getting it issued.
AIGETOA has always been pragmatic in approach. We sincerely believe in perseverance and getting the results instead of crying over the hurdles and obstacles. Our Team Intervened in the case, got a clarification issued and thereafter the DPC process was set in motion and finally orders were issued.
AIGETOA has once again proved that what others called as IMPOSSIBLE, AIGETOA believe in making it as I M Possible.
Had the stay would not have been obtained by the back end team of one particular group, more 300 SDEs from AIEL3 would have got promoted followed by all others in the List. We once again request them to reconsider their approach and instead try for getting the things resolved within the organization. AIGETOA assures that all eligible JTOs shall be promoted very soon.
